The Gokongwei Brothers Foundation Scholarship 2025 to 2026 is now accepting applications from all qualified collage students in the Philippines. This scholarship is intended to help individual who want to work in STEM education.
What is Gokongwei brothers Foundation Scholarship?
The Gokongwei Brothers Foundation (GBF) Scholarship is an educational initiative designed to assist financially poor Filipino students who are academically gifted, particularly those pursuing STEM-related courses.
The GBF is one largest organizations in the Philippines, founded in 1992 by the Gokongwei family. Mainly contributes to the development of the nation.
Type of Scholarship programs
Two types of Scholarship Programs
- TeachSTEM Collage Scholarship and
- TeachSTEM Master’s Scholarship
TeachSTEM Collage Scholarship
To apply for a TeachSTEM Collage Scholarship, follow the requirements listed below:
Requirements to Apply
- The applicant must be an entering first or second-year students in the Master’s Degree Program.
- Must have a general weighted average of at least 85% or equivalent from the previous academic year.
- The applicant must enroll in the GBF Partner Teacher Education Institution (TEI) or
- Those who enrolled in a teacher education institution (TEI) with LET scores higher than the national average.
- The applicant must have good moral standing.
- Scholars must require financial support.
- The application cannot have any active Scholarship
- He or she must intent to teach in a K-12 public school, teach science , and participate in any STEM-related courses.
Required Documents
- Fully Accomplished Application Form
- Proof of Enrollment
- For first-year Masters students, a true copy of grade from the academic year 2023-2024, or a collage transcript of records, is required.
- If you are a first year student, please submit SHS Form 138 or a Grade 12 copy of yours grades.
- If you are in your year or later, please submit a copy of your grades from the previous terms of the academic year 2023-2024.
- Submit Proof of Residence
- Proof of yearly income, Income Taz Returns.

Scholarship Benefits
Scholars will receive a total benefits of:
- Benefits for State University – ₱65,000 per year.
- Benefits for Private university – ₱85,000 per year.
Important: Scholarship grants are sent directly to the scholar Bank Account, for Educational use.
Scholarship Grade may use for Educational Expense:
- living allowance
- Tuition Fee
- Book fee
- supplies and
- Other Educational related expenses.
Priority Courses
Follow the steps given to apply for TeachSTEM Master;s Scholarship Program:
Requirements to apply
- Scholars must have at least one year of teaching experience and currently teach in a private or public school.
- You must intend to teach STEM-related courses to K-12 students in public schools.
- Applicant must be in teaching Excellence.
- He or she must be an incoming first or second year students in Master’s degrees programs.
- The General Average must be at least 85%, or its equal.
- Must be in a Good Moral Standing
- Must be in a need of Financial Support
- Must not have any other active Scholarship Program.
Documentary Requirements
- Fully Accomplished Application Form
- Proof of Enrollment
- Proof of Residence
- Certified true Copy of Grand From AY 2023 to 2024 of 1st year Master’s Student.
Scholarship Benefits
- For State University –₱45,000/year
- For Private University -₱65,000/year
