CHED Scholarship 2026 to 2027 Application Open Now to Apply
The CHED Scholarship 2026 is a financial support program by the commission on Higher Education (CHED) of the Philippines. This Scholarship is a fully financed initiative designed to improve and support the quality of education for collage students.
The CHED officially announced the commencement of the CHED Scholarships Program for qualified Filipino students in the Academic Year 2025-2026. It is a government-funded scholarship program designed to help exceptional students across the country.

What is CHED Scholarship?
The CHED Scholarship Program is a government-funded program that aims to help students who belong to the following groups with their education:
- (RA 7279)– Underprivileged and homeless Citizens
- (RA 7277)– People with Disabilities
- (RA 8371)– Solo Parents or their dependents
The CHED Scholarship Program is now accepting applications from all interested and eligible incoming freshmen who continue to study in the CHED recognized priority programs: (SUCs). State Universities and collage (LUCs) Local Universities and collage (HEIs) Private higher education institutions can apply for these scholarship programs.

Step-by-Step details on CHED Merit Scholarship Program
CHED Merit Scholarship program (CMSP)
The CHED Merit Scholarship program for the academic year 2025to 2026 is now accepting applications from all incoming first-year collage students in the Philippines.
CHED Scholars will be eligible for full or half scholarships through students financial assistance program (StuFAPs). Those enrolled in CHED Priority Courses are eligible to apply for this award.
Requirements to Apply
To apply for the Scholarship program, meet these requirements:
- Applicants must be Filipino citizens
- Must be a Graduating High School students
- (GWA) General Weighted Average For Full Merit Scholarship Program must be at-least 96% or to it’s equivalent.
- (GWA) General Weighted Average for Half Merit Scholarship program Must be at-least 93% to 95% or to it’s equivalent.
- For those who enroll in courses listed as CHED Priority Programs.
- For those who belong to the special group of person such as:
- (RA 7279) – Underprivileged and Homeless Citizens
- (RA 7277) – people with Disability
- (RA 8371) – Solo Parents or their dependents
- Must not have any other active scholarship program or government-funded scholarships.

Documentary Requirements
Prepare valid Documents before applying for CHED Scholarship Program:
- True Copy of Birth Certificate
- For incoming freshmen, a high school report card is required, as required, as well as a certified true copy of grades for Grade 11and the first semester of Grade 12.
- Income Tax Returns from Parents/Guardian
- If not under Tax Filling-Tax exemption form from Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
- Copy of certificate of indigence from or the DSWD.
- Other valid documents, if required
Benefits under Scholarship program
The CHED Merit Scholarship 2025-2026 will provide the following benefits:
- Tuition and Other School-related Fees (TOSF)
- Book Allowance Per Semester
- Connectivity allowance per semester and
- Stipend per semester
Note: The benefits will sent directly to the scholars or via HEls. The grants will continue till the degrees program is completed.

Full PESFA – Yearly Benefits
Full PESFA students will receive a total of ₱120,000 in annual benefits, as shown below:
- Tuition and Other School Fees of – ₱40,000.
- Stipend of –₱70,000.
- Book and Connectivity allowance – ₱10,000.
Full PESFA – Semestral Benefits
Full PESFA – Semestral students will receive a total of ₱60,000, in a perks as shown below:
- Tuition and Other School Fees of –₱20,000.
- Stipend of – ₱35,000.
- Book and Connectivity allowance – ₱5,000.
Half PESFA – Semestral Benefits
Full PESFA- Semestral Students will receive a total benefits of ₱60,000, as shown below:
- Tuition and Others Schools Fees of – ₱20,000.
- Stipend of – ₱35,000.
- Book and connectivity allowance – ₱5,000.
Half PESFA – Yearly Benefits
Students under Half PESFA-Yearly will receive a total benefits of ₱60,000, as shown below:
- Tuition and Other School Fees of – ₱20,000.
- Stipend of – ₱35,000.
- Book and Connectivity allowance – ₱5,000.
Half PESFA – Semestral Benefits
Students under Half PESFA-Semestral will receive a total benefits of ₱30,000, as shown below:
- Tuition and Other School Fees of– ₱20,000.
- Stipend of ₱17,000.
- Book and connectivity allowance– ₱2,500.

Full SSP- Yearly students will get a total of ₱80,000, as shown below:
- Tuition and Other School Fees – Free.
- Stipend of ₱70,000.
- Book and connectivity allowance – ₱10,000.
Full SSP – Semestral Benefits
Full SSP – Semestral students will receive a total of ₱40,000, as shown below.
- Tuition and Other School Fees – Free.
- Stipend of – ₱35,000.
- Book and Connectivity allowance – ₱5,000.
Half SSP – Yearly Benefits
Students under Half SSP – Yearly will earn a total benefits of ₱40,000, distributed as follows:
- Tuition and Other School Fees – Free.
- Stipend of – ₱35,000.
- Book and Connectivity allowance – ₱5,000.
Half SSP-Semestral Benefits
Students under Half SSP – Semestral will receive a total benefits of ₱20,000, in benefits, as shown below:
- Tuition and Other School Fees – Free
- Stipend of – ₱17,500.
- Book and Connectivity allowance – ₱2,500.
