The Tzu Chi Foundation Scholarship program is now accepting applications for the academic year 2026-2027. It is committed to assisting students who are determined to achieve their academic goals determined to achieve their academic goals despite of financial difficulties.
The Educational Assistance Program provides financial assistance to meritorious students enrolled in partner state universities and collage. Follow the steps outlined to apply.
What is Tzu Chi Foundation Scholarship?
This Program helps students continue their education and provides an opportunity to develop compassion, responsibility and service. This program is open to first-year collage student at the time of application. This signifies the students is currently in first year and will move on to second year next semester.
Requirement to Apply
- Must be enrolled in a state university or collage partner
- Must be an entering second-year collage student.
- Must belong to an economically challenged household
- GWA=General Weighted Average of at least 2.25 (82%), no failing grade.
- There must not be any incomplete grades in any subject.
- Must be a regular student
- Applicants must pass the interview and agree to a home visitation conducted by the social worker.
- Applicants are required to be residents of metro Manila.

- Duly Accomplished Tzu Chi Application Form
- Latest report card
- Latest registration form
- 1×1 ID picture
- Autobiography
- Recent Family Picture
- Picture of the inside and outside of the house
- copy of utility bills
- Detailed Sketch map of residence with landmarks
- Latest ITR or Parents Pay slip (If applicable)
- Barangay Certificate of Indigency.
