The SM Foundation recently announced the opening of SM Scholarship Program for the academic year 2026-2027, All qualified and interested students may apply, the SM Foundation is a well-known Scholarship program in the country.
The SM Foundation provides scholarship opportunities to worthy high school graduates in order to help them prepare for a better future.
What is SM Scholarship?
The SM Scholarship is provided by the SM Foundation, Inc. it is social responsibility program of the SM Group, founded by Mr. Henry Sy Sr. The Foundation has been offerings college scholarships for more than 20 years. Through this program, students can fulfill their educational objectives without having to worry about the cost. It is a financial aid program designed to assist disadvantaged Filipino students who are pursing higher educational in specific professions, like IT and engineering in affiliated schools around the Nation.

Who can apply?
To apply SM Scholarship program, you must meet the following requirement:
- Must be grade 12 graduates from public and private schools in the area covered
- Candidates for private schools must have completed Grade 10 at a public high school and possess a DepEd voucher.
- General Weighted average must be at least 92% or to its equivalent for Grade 12 1st semester
- Total annual household income must not exceed to ₱250,000
- Applicant must be planning to enroll in a bachelor’s degrees program in specific fields:
- Business, Accountancy, Business Administration, Engineering, IT related.
Documentary Requirements
Applicants must prepare the following documents to apply scholarship program:
- Accomplished online application form
- Birth Certificate
- Latest Grade 12 report card
- Two (2) copies of 2×2 ID pictures
- Sketch of applicant’s residence to the nearest SM Mall
- Tax Returns of Parents/Guardian
- Certificate of non-filing of income Tax or Certificate of Indigency or Recent Pay-Slips
